    Enjoy the peace and quiet of a mountain cabin nestled on twelve wooded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Brownstone Cabin Rentals offers 2 cabins .

The Sophie House was built for mountain missionary Sister Sophie, who served the people of Grayson County for 43 years as a frontier nurse. Come and experience the beauty surrounding the Sophie House and the legacy of a remarkable life.

Cabin Rock which was originally a sheep shed made out of hand hewn logs and now is a cozy cabin.

 
The Sophie House is complete with:
  • Fully furnished kitchen
  • Full Bath
  • Electric heat plus woodstove
  • Bedroom with full bed
  • Loft with twin beds
  • Great room with futon
  • Linens not provided.

Rates: $250 Weekend Rate-Friday(3pm)-Sunday (11am)

$550 per week..
